No-till on the Plains Tour to South America
Early March 2010
No-till on the Plains is excited to offer you an invitation to join us on a very unique and in-depth tour of Brazilian no-till farming.  Over the years we have developed a key network of agriculture experts from South America while hosting them as featured speakers at No-till on the Plains Winter Conferences.  We have been invited and encouraged to come down their way and visit.  It is summer in Brazil so we think the time to travel has definitely arrived!

  •  Dates:  
March 2 – 15, 2010 - Basic program 
March 2 – 20, 2010  - optional Extended Program (to include large no-till equipment fair)
  • Approx. Cost: 
Basic program $4,750 / person (International flights, meals, lodging, all-inclusive)
Extended program $5,900 / person (International flights, meals, lodging, all-inclusive)
  • Highlights:
Mato Grossa and Cerrado regions, Rio de Janeiro, numerous farm and research visits, famous large no-till equipment fair (similar to Farm Progress shows)
  • Tour guide:
Rolf Derpsch (3-time veteran speaker at Winter Conferences) will be our personal tour guide for the entire trip!

This is where we need your help!   You know what to expect from a No-till on the Plains event, and this tour will certainly exceed your expectations.  Join us on this ultimate no-till excursion!   We are currently finalizing some of the last details of the trip and need a solid commitment from enough of you to continue.    We need at least 20 people and no more than 40 to make this trip happen!  Don’t delay – please notify No-till on the Plains immediately (deadline is Monday, January 11th).
